April 21st was a day to celebrate UNITY with FASHION and that day also brought a few pleasant surprises to the top three contestants of the Unity Contest, especially Miss Jessica Donette our first prize winner.
Runner up and third place were not promised anything during the time of the contest but our team felt that we should award their efforts and make them all winners, after all it was “Unity Night”. Third place received a special edition of the “We Remember Haiti T-shirt,” the runner up received $100 and the winner, Miss Jessica Donette walked away with a brand new IPAD.

Special thanks to Lordana Design, Papillon Design for jazzing up the “Unity T-Shirt.” We can’t forget our partner Konbit For Haiti, Miss Haiti, Miss Black Florida, David Riche, Pkliz Restaurant and Lounge, 2KBes, our models, our performers, our wonderful volunteers, and everyone else who came out to stand in solidarity with Haiti. As for the Hope Team USA, we’re heading to Haiti to do the good deeds you have allowed us to do with your generous contributions. Thank you for allowing us to serve those in need, we will see you when we get back, stay unified!
